Cookie Policy

Effective date: May 1, 2026  ·  Applies to: venuine.com and account.venuine.com

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember your preferences, and provide information to site owners. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and browser fingerprinting. This policy covers all of them.

2. Who We Are

Venuine ("we", "us", "our") operates the marketing website at venuine.com and the venue management platform at account.venuine.com. For questions about this policy, contact us at hello@venuine.com.

3. Cookies We Use

We use only strictly necessary cookies. We do not currently use advertising, profiling, or third-party analytics cookies. The table below lists every cookie or storage item we set.

No advertising cookies. We do not use Facebook Pixel, Google Ads, TikTok, or any retargeting technology on any Venuine property.

No third-party analytics. We do not currently load Google Analytics, Mixpanel, PostHog, Hotjar, or similar services. If we add analytics in the future, this policy will be updated and, where required by law, your consent will be obtained before any non-essential cookies are set.

4. Legal Basis for Essential Cookies

Essential cookies are placed on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a secure, functional service (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) and because they are strictly necessary to deliver the service you have requested (ePrivacy Directive, Recital 66). No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies under EU or UK law.

5. Your Choices and Controls

Because we only use essential cookies, opting out of all cookies would prevent the Venuine platform from functioning. You can manage cookies using your browser settings:

You can also opt out of Google reCAPTCHA data collection by not using the contact or demo-request forms, and reaching us directly at hello@venuine.com.

6. Cookies in the Venuine Mobile App

The Venuine mobile application (iOS/Android) does not use browser cookies. Authentication tokens are stored securely in the device's encrypted keychain/keystore. No tracking SDKs are included in the mobile app.

7. Data Retention

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies expire on the date shown in the table above. You may delete any cookie at any time through your browser or device settings.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent revision. If we make material changes — for example, adding non-essential cookies — we will notify you by a prominent notice on our website or, where required, seek your renewed consent.
